The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures offers courses in Mandarin Chinese and Chinese civilization. The language courses include Beginning Chinese (CHIN 10153 and CHIN 10163) and Intermediate Chinese (CHIN 20053 and CHIN 20063). The Chinese civilization course includes an introduction to Chinese civilization and culture (CHIN 30113). In the future, the department may also provide advanced Chinese language courses and Chinese civilization directed study courses. Chinese courses contribute to fulfillment of the Asian Studies minor at TCU. |
