Modern Languages
The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures
The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures offers courses in French, German, Italian and Japanese. Courses of study lead to a minor in French, German and Japanese. A more detailed description of these programs and the courses offered can be found under Programs. Beside courses during the regular academic year, the department also offers Study Abroad opportunities in France, Japan and Germany.
The Department also maintains the Multi-media Language Learning Center in Room 16 Reed Hall.
