Sandra Waters has taught Italian language, literature, culture, and cinema at the University of Oregon at Eugene, University of California at Berkeley, Rutgers, Montclair State University, CUNY Brooklyn College, and Colorado College. She received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota, her M.A. from the University of Oregon, and wrote her Ph.D. thesis, Narrating the Italian Historical Novel, at Rutgers. Her specialized fields of research include Italian cinema, trauma theory, gender studies, and 18th-21st century literature.

Robin Ann Wright joined the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures in the fall of 2005. She received her M.A. in Italian from The Ohio State University, and studied Italian in Milan, Lago di Garda, and Rome. In addition, she spent a year studying French language and literature at the Universite` Rablais in Tours, France. She has taught at The Ohio State University, Ohio University, and in Rome, Italy. Last summer, she took 13 TCU students to Rome and Perugia where students studied at the Universita` di Perugia. She enjoys meeting with students outside of the classroom, not only in Italy, but also at various Italian cultural events around Fort Worth. When she’s not teaching, you can try to find her on top of a mountain in The Grand Tetons of Wyoming. |
